This aftermarket replacement center edge segment (part number 1099080 / 109-9080) is a bolt-on Ground Engaging Tool (G.E.T.) designed to protect and extend the service life of the bucket lip on Caterpillar wheel loaders and large excavators. The center segment mounts on the leading edge of the bucket using three 1.25" grade 9 plow bolts and three 1.25" hex nuts, improving bucket penetration and increasing material capacity under tough digging conditions.
