This left-hand (LH) bucket cutting edge segment is a Ground Engaging Tool (GET) wear part designed for the front cutting edge of the bucket on Caterpillar 988 series large wheel loaders. Segment edges protect the base edge lip of the bucket, improve penetration into material, and extend bucket life by providing replaceable wear material at the leading edge.
