This metric hydraulic wear ring (also called a guide ring or support ring) installs on the piston or piston rod inside a Komatsu hydraulic cylinder. It prevents metal-to-metal contact between the piston and cylinder bore during operation, supporting and guiding the piston or rod through its stroke while protecting the cylinder from damage and premature wear.
